Introduction to Understanding Domestic Violence Victimization

This interactive training is a high-level overview of the nuances of domestic violence that provides practical steps for a response, especially by law enforcement and prosecution, as well as an understanding of how a coordinated community response can increase victims’ cooperation and build stronger community partnerships. This course is intended to provide tools and strategies to foster support for victims throughout the criminal justice process. This course is intended to introduce the topic of domestic violence by applying learned concepts to real-world situations using practical scenarios and a learning assessment.
